Every year after Thanksgiving my mom and I wake up at 3:00 in the morning and go shopping ALL DAY. This past year I had to come home early because Zac wanted to take me out to eat. He kept telling me I needed to dress up, but I just brushed it off. I started thinking while I was out shopping maybe I should get a dress, so I did. Zac had made reservations for the Bright Star, and reserved the booth that Paul Bryant always sat in. How ironic?? When we arrived everyone was super nice and I asked Zac what's up with the niceness?? Of course, he laughed and was like baby they are suppose to be. I was like whatever, and continued eating. Zac got full really quick and that is very unusual. I asked what was wrong and he said, "Nothing just full," and I said okay. About that time my heart started racing, I was thinking OMG is he about to propose? Well, he looked at me and said, "Baby are you sure you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" I know my face was blood red, and I answered with, "Of course I do, don't you?" After I answered I saw him reaching in his pocket and he proceeded to get on one knee. He then popped the question!!!!! I smiled and said, "YES." After he proposed the owner brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate with. That was the best night of my life. It was very exciting and did not sink in for a couple of weeks. Wedding plans have already began and I will keep all of you updated. We set a date for June 27, 2009. We will be getting married in Pleasant Grove at my home church.

Thanksgiving 2008
Unfortunately I had to work on Thanksgiving Day. I got off work at 3 and met Zac and his family at his Aunt's house in Greystone. I missed the lunch, but got to socialize until we had to leave for my family's Thanksgiving dinner. We did not have to travel far at all. My Aunt lives 5 minutes from Zac's Aunt in Highland Lakes. It's always nice to be with your family on Holidays.
...ALABAMA FOOTBALL 2008...
Football sesaon keeps Zac and I very busy. Between Hueytown High School Football and Alabama we barley have a chance to breathe. This past year we traveled to Atlanta for the first game of the season. It was a blast and of course they kicked butt!! With us having season tickets we attend every home game. We always get there early to tailgate with all of our friends. We always have such a great time. Alabama had a terrific season with an ending record of 12-2.
My 21st BIRTHDAY :)
August is a big month for Zac and I. Not only is it his birthday, but it's mine too. Football season also starts, and that really keeps us busy. This past year my birthday fell on a Monday :( The Saturday before his parents took me to Leonardo's, my favorite Italian restaurant of all time. If you have never ate there before you really should :) That Sunday was my family party and everyone came over to eat lunch. My birthday night Zac took me to La Paz in Mountain Brook. It was very good!! Since my birthday fell on a Monday my friends and I decided to go out that following Thursday. We went to Cocina Superior to eat and then went out to Twist and Shout!!! It was so much fun. I guess I can't say much about Zac having 3 parties because I had 4.....
**Zac's 24th BiRtHdAy**
Zac turned 24 last August. Of course we celebrated, not just one time, but 3!!! His birthday was on Sunday the 3rd. That Friday night before his parents and I took him to Sumo. The next night on Saturday we went to Jubilee Joe's with friends, and on his actual birthday the family came over and we ate lunch. I have to say he had a pretty good birthday. Who gets three parties????

Gatlinburg in July 2008
Zac wanted to take me on a trip before football season started, so I chose the moutains. We rented a cabin named "Little Bit of Lovin." It was the cutest place I had ever seen. It had a beautiful view. We had the best time together. We slept in both mornings and went to Gatlinburg each night. We did go to Splash Mountian one day, it was extremely FUN!!
Destin 2008
Last July a group of us took a trip to the beach during the week of the fourth. We rented a house in Destin. It was very nice and of course Zac and I had the master bedroom :) The trip was so much fun. We ate, layed out, shopped, and went out every night. Many memories were made and will not be forgotten!!

Our first date!
Our first date was on April 19, 2008. We went to an Alabama baseball game, Wings to eat, and back to his house to watch a movie. Zac knew I liked baseball and chose that venue for our first date, even though he does not like the sport. We all know he LOVES football and now I have grown to love it just as much as he does! Our first date was very fun, and would not trade it for anything!
How we first met...
Zac and I, believe it or not, met 10 months ago at a friends wedding. I was in Tamara and Landon Shugrue's wedding and Zac was there with a couple of friends. I had always known who he was just never spoke to him. From the first time we spoke I knew he was the one. We hung out that entire weekend, needless to say, I did not want to come home. When we got home from the beach we talked the very next night and had our first date the next weekend. We have been together ever since and now we are GETTING MARRIED!!! It is so funny how things work out. Zac is one of a kind and I Love him very much :):):)
